Plastic Film Business
line

It was year 1964 (the 39th year of Showa) when Kohjin started the production of shrink (heat shrink) films based on our original technology, "the Tubular simultaneous biaxial stretched film production method". Since then in the Yatsushiro factory as the production base, Kohjin has created versatile plastic films for packaging such as the PP shrink film with the top-share in the domestic market, biaxial stretched nylon films, shrink-stretch films, and etc. Also, we recently focused on the development and sales of the function films such as highly gas-barrier films for converting uses, waterproof moisture permeable films, and etc. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to supplying high function and quality films for various fields including the food industry, and also to develop a new film which is required by "the environmental century".
